Possessive nouns are used to show possession (owning, or having). Possessive nouns tell you who or what the noun belongs to:Example: Reggie's car...normally we add ('s) or (') to show ownership...'s are used in nouns not ending in s' are used in nouns ending in sExample: The car of Reggie. possessive noun - Reggie's carMr. Reyes is my sisters teacher. possessive noun - My sisters' teacher. The toy of the kitten. possessive noun - Kitten's toy.The toys of the kittens. possessive noun - Kitten' toysnote: in the first ex. it means that Reggie has a car. (Reggie is the noun & the car is her ownership.) We just added ('s) because Reggie does not end is s...in the second ex. we just added (') because the noun sisters ending in (s).We don't say (My sisters's teacher.)(^_^)...
