I haven't been here for a long time. So,first of all,HELLO! guys!
Well,I have a tough time,leaving my home,finding a job,finding a flat,blah blah blah. At now,everything is fine except the environment. I really can't bear it. I got a job in a state-owned enterprises which is about railway. As a intern, I have to stay with these workers for one year,maybe longer. I don't have any problem with it. I mean,yeah,It's my job and I get the pay,right? But here is the thing,the working environment is so bad,It looks like a small factory,welders fix the skin of the train just like plastic surgeons,forklift drivers carry things like robots. You can not hear anyone's talk,It's noisy and I just wonder if you can see somebody clearly. Smog and dust everywhere.
That's not the end,the air in Chengdu city is unbelievable terrible recently.The highest record of PM2.5 could be over 300. I don't know why but It definitely has something to do with our GDP. Old style,Pollute the environment,Develop the economy. I'm very angry about this. when I was home,I even could't open windows. Here respirator is not for looking cool,It's really a part of our life.
I Really Really sick of those guys who would die without smoking. Look them,smoking in the thick fog with their ignorance happy face.They just don't know what's happened to us,what's going on here. I must tell them again and again how bad the air is but that's useless.
Seriously, I don't wanna die. So,please,don't kill me!

Well,maybe some smoke could be from our country.I don't know exactly who did this because there are many foreign plants here.But you are right,Development and environment should not be enemies.And I think It's not just younger generation's duty to make people realize their bad habits,It should be everyone's duty to protect our home.
Over here, the API (Air Pollution Index) of over 200 normally reached during the hot season when some smoke from neighbouring country reached various cities. I could never imagine living daily with that kind of smoke. I think it's up to younger generations to educate the people and change their mindsets. Development and environment should not become an enemy.
