A friend of mine sent me this morning a link, hope she can stay with us as soon as she can. She knows how I wonder the sky, the nature, the winds,..., and my curiosity.
The video it's taken in that island which is in front of ours.
There you can see our "sea clouds" because here is a wind called "alisios" which blows between 200-400 meters (I think, maybe I'm wrong!). Wind catch and accumulate the humidity forming clouds up the mountains having water to the trees that is called "horizontal rain" – look for "laurisilva" –. Behind the mountains, looking from the South-West, you can see the clouds as a beer foam over the glass running down and quickly dissappeared; the well known foehn (föhn) effect. However not always the clouds can go through the mountains due to its high. You can go up further than clouds and the day turn into blue and shining again, and looking at East, you can see below your feet the Sea Cloud.
Hope you enjoy!
