Hello MyEC members! It's time for a new photo challenge. Everyone is welcome to join. The goal this time is to "draw" an image. Instead of painting the traditional way with brushes and pigments, the challenge is for you to be creative and use natural materials, such as fruits, petals, twigs, shells, gravels, and seeds to paint with. When it comes to artwork, there is no language barriers. You can also invite your family member or friends to play together. Let your imagination run wild!
How to participate:
- Write or draw whatever you can imagine. Take a look at our examples, or click here to find more inspiration.
- The painting elements you use must be natural stuff.
- Take a photo of your work and upload it to MyEC photo gallery. Use the title " Photo Challenge#22: Art Project ", and write a brief description about it.
- Make sure that the background of your work is simple enough to bring out your object while composing.
- Share the link to your photo in the comments below after the photo is approved. As usual, please do not upload copied photos from the Internet. These will not be approved. Check out MyEC Photo Guidelines.
- Your work will be collected into the slideshow below.

Thank you a lot, teacher Galina! Hope to join your exhibition. :) It would be so great if your students give this fun activity a try. Their works, I can imagine, will be interesting and kaleidoscopic! Aside from that, your work is also laudable. Love it!
Hi, Grace!
What a creative new challenge! I can't help admiring it! As soon as I've seen your art work, I decided to participate in this unusual challenge! I even told my students about it and maybe we'll have an exhibition of my students' works in our classroom! Grace, without any doubt, the God of Art and Design kissed you while you were a baby!
Here is the work of Grape hyacinths' two daughters.

No problem, sis! Many thanks for your great support! The work you presented looks carefree and reminds me of some nice memories on the beach long time ago. Love it. :)
Noaslpls, art can be presented in many ways. Even if it's a simple image, it's still precious. You can be creative more than you think, I believe. Thank you for the comment. :)
