Monday morning, the event for food nutrition month came to picture. The grade three pupils started to form their line, they were wearing a costume, and there were vegetables and fruits. Light was wearing a cabbage looked costume, and I could remember how difficult for us to find one that will suit his size.

I was standing at the corner of the stage and gazed the areas and my boy as he walked along with his classmates, and then I froze!

Holy crap!

The pretty teacher became even prettier! She was wearing a white flowing dress, with some glittering that I didn't know how to call, maybe some stones, and laced design embraced her lovely arms. She looked like a fairy came out from a book of tales and love stories. She was not wearing her thick rimmed glasses and had a different hairstyle, not the usual low-tied. She was busy arranging her pupils and trailing them to the elevated stage. I'm almost lost to nowhere as she started to move.

Breathe less!

I enjoyed the event and I was very proud how Light showed some theatrical talents and he was really good portraying the character of a cabbage. For about two hours that I stood at the corner observing people around, I never failed to took glances to Miss Erthal, if there's a chance I stared at her, the way she talks, the way she moves, her every engagement to this event never missed my eyes to capture. I know it's absurd but I even imagined her as a supportive mother of Light, and I'm the silent proud father.

Darn! What's happening to me? I'm crazy!

Miss Erthal's class finished their performance and I took some photos of my son while on the stage and his pretty teacher. Well, secretly I'm taking photos of her, of course without her noticing it when I reach home I will check all of it. I know it's weird and I'm acting like a teenage boy who seems to stalk his first crush, but what can I do? He is my first crush after all. I admit I'm so attracted to her and lately, I been imagining things and scenes at the back of my mind with her.

As she headed the way for her students going back to their designated seats, she passed at my front, a meter away from me, I almost faint when I saw her close and I smelled the vanilla and fruity scent came from her. It feels like I flew away and touched the clouds and felt the refreshing cool breeze of the morning air. Or I was slowly laying my back in the middle of so many tulips and lilacs that embraced my body and tickles my nostrils by their scents.

This is so crazy!

I decided to buy something for my kid so I slipped through the crowd and went to the cafeteria, Light could have been hungry by now. As I walked my way to the hot dog stand booth, I saw at the right side a guy who...looks so familiar for me.

Darn!

Andres!

The man recognized me I think because when I walked near him, he suddenly turned back and moved almost running.

What is this guy doing here?

Without a second thought, I followed him and moved as fast as I could so I could probably catch that dimwit. There's no other reason why he'll be here...other than because I am here.

The dimwit managed to hide from the multitude of people wandering around the school's premise. I lost him.

I went back to the food booths and continued to buy my son's favorite hotdog; I also bought clubhouse sandwiches and fruit juices. I bought for three people, an extra could be necessary in case there's a chance to go nearer to the pretty teacher.

The event wrapped up and students bid goodbyes to their friends and teachers, the time was an hour after lunchtime. Light ran to me and hugged my thigh, he tilted his face to me and smiled, and he was so cute with that costume. I removed the green headdress and tapped his head and smiled back.

"You're awesome!" I praised him.

"I know, right." He chuckled.

I did not notice that Miss Erthal was at my side until she talked.

"Hello Mr. Villegas, good afternoon." Her voice was soothing and I'm a bit surprised by her presence. Most of the time, I hate unexpected things, because I'm used to sorting things with a plan. But this is different, an ecstatic sudden occurrence. I faced her.

"Hi! Good afternoon! The event went well." I said.

"It's because of the parents like you who supported this event and not to mention we have exceptional students this year. Everything fell into their right places." She smiled.

Holy crap! The girl has a perfect set of teeth! And oh dear, the small dimples are killing me now!

"Or it's because there are dedicated and hard working teachers like you." I looked at her intensely.

She recognized the stare I made, and she blushed ...

Grrrr... Killing someone is easier than facing this one, my heart is running wild! Feels like it wants to go outside my body and jump!

"By the way, would you like to have a sandwich, the event started early...so I guess you must be starving now, like this little guy..." I lend the hot dog and juice to Light. He grabbed those instantly and bit in a nanosecond.

I handed the food to her, though I want her to accept it, I'm a bit hesitant if she will. I know that she quite aloof and reserve most of the time. But to my glory, she took it from me. The door of heavens opened and I heard an angel singing melodiously.

What the heck!

"Thank you, Mr. Villegas. I truly appreciate the gesture but I have to go now, I'll just eat after sending off all my students. Have a great day." She said calmly and straight face. "Light, you are awesome." Afterward she knelt down to face Light and touched his face. Do we have the same perceptions? She used the words I had used to my boy. Light looked at me and I winked and looked at his teacher, "Thank you, Ma'am." Light smiled charmingly.

Miss Erthal stood up and waved goodbyes to us and went to other parents.

"You're drooling, Father. Please close your mouth." Light said and my heart dropped.

I'm that obvious?!

  • Yuhooooooooo dearest Elen, yes, that’s correct. She took it. :)… hmmm, I didn’t convey the message clearly, she was busy on sending off her other students….we will give them a moment alone, don’t worry.

Thank you, as always, you motivated my writing spirit.

There’s another one part, actually I posted already to another platform. :D

  • If I understood right, she took the sandwich and left?? Hahahaha :D That's sounds funny and a little rude :D She should stay with him for a while :P

However, a sweet story begins. I feel like there is already magic in the atmosphere ^_^

(I thought it would be the last part but it is not, and I am glad about it).
