She told me to stay here and she’ll buy us drinks, my mother told me she’ll make it fast, this is the first time she brought me outside, only me and her, my siblings left in our house, I’m excited, I feel special. The bus station is full packed and crowded, people are rushing to their trips and the ticket booth seems like a box-office movie.

It’s been a while now, where is she? For sure, she finds it difficult to buy something as everyone wants to have themselves first, maybe there are multitude of buyers wherever she is, my mom is a busy person, I rarely see her, and we sleep at night without her because she’s doing a night shift job, every late afternoon she dressed up like a Christmas tree, her face full of make-ups, that sometimes I even forgot the face of my mother. I don’t have a father like normal kids do, well, all of my siblings doesn’t have one, I don’t see it weird, we get use to it and we don’t look for anyone to play the role. We don’t go to school, we stay at home or play around with neighbor’s child, and we roam and wander most of our days, observe people and laugh.  Sometimes, my mother’s friend asked us to deliver something to someone, a small plastic, and lightweight, and I'm sure it was expensive and when people receives the package they seem alerted and excited when, I don't know why but I'm certain it was very important for them and when we accomplished that, her friend will give us money in return, I don’t know why? But I never refuse to accept it, not even once.

I came back to reality as two men approached me, telling me to go with them, I declined immediately, and they grabbed my arms and pulled me by force! I was so shocked I almost cry, I screamed, the other guy looked at me with irritation in his face and hit my head real hard, I felt dizzy, where are you, mother? Somebody help me, I want to say it loud but afraid they will beat me again. We reached a gray van parked beside the road, and they pushed me inside, I gazed, there are people inside, a driver and few kids that I think almost same my age, six years old and above. The fear and disturbance were written on their faces, dried tears that turned dirt like mine, now.

“Where are you taking me? My mother will look for me…” I said very meekly, almost pleading.

“She will not look for you, dog, she already got her payment.” The guy in the passenger seat replied with a sarcastic tone, the way he looks shivers my spine.

“What are you saying? What a….a..are you going to do wi..wi..with me? I almost ate my tongue asking the question.

“Babysits.” He said followed by a terrifying laughter I’ve never heard before.

Where are you mother, please look for me now, we are moving, I'm so scared...
