Painful longing

light reflects my face in the window
dark night,  no stars, no moon
white face, dark eyes, bleeding heart
wounded  soul, desperate longing

speaking with invisible moon
beg the stars to send her light to earth
to show the colors like kaleidoscope
should lead me through the  night

but thunder breaks the silence
thunderbolts light up the darkness
Rain sings his song of loneliness
with drops like a dance rhythm for

who puts his arms around me
who catches me if I falling
who fixes my doubts and fears
and who feeds my hungry soul

the thunder will become silent
the thunderbolts want  to go out
the sun dries raindrops tomorrow
but painfull longing will stay

  • You are most welcome Rose!

  • Mishaikh, you have found better words and expressions than me. I like it. I should have asked you before I did write my poem .... thanks for.

  • The thunder dies,

    the thunderbolt put out,

the sun dries out the rains,

but the pain of love makes

    the heart beat ever faster.

This is the destiny for those who like to burn themselves in the fire of love.

Thanks for sharing such a beautiful poetry.

  • Shones gidecht!

who puts his arms around me?

who catches me if I fall?

The words remind me of Agnesa Faltskog, "wrap your arms around me".

I will  try my luck to make a poem. Nice poem!

  • It's more like melancholic than deppresive.

  • Lots of depression in this rhyme.. It's kinda painful..
