He had no idea what lies beyond there, all he knew was he needs to be there. He was working abroad not by choice but by certain circumstances he can't escape of. Having a sickly sister that for those years they've thought she only disliked (squeamish) the sun rays. Later they realized, she has lupus. As she gets older, the damages are aggravating every year until she found herself scared of going outdoors. She preferred to stay inside and be content to what the television is trying to tell her. His mother endured almost every struggle and hardship from becoming a single mother ever since his father died from a horrible accident.
He loved his sister very much and this is the reason why he had accepted the job abroad even though he has so many preconceived ideas how tragic life living there. He has a loyal friend who used to play fortune teller and pretend to be clairvoyant (clairvoyance) scared him that he would only suffer overseas. He thought so too, but that was the only chance for him. And he fled. He remembered experiencing adversity from childhood up to now and he believed himself as an indefatigable person. He knew that life is not a bed of roses and before you witness the rainbow you have to feel the tremendous storm.
The agency that had sent him abroad used subterfuge tactics to earned money and the work he was told was not the one he has to be done. He ended up fooled by unscrupulous personnel that willfully gained at the expense of other people. He was told to be a mechanic for an automobile company but what is waiting for him was a houseboy doing errands for selfish rich people. He endured insurmountable obstacles in order to survive. Every night his mind is running when he could escape and how. Then, the perfect time came. He's free now and worked as a self-employed (freelance)mechanic of Audi motors but still, he thought on becoming a freelance automobile marketer in the future.
Isn't it great? Life is full of surprises.

Thank you, I tried to just now. :)
No problem, dear! We correct your writing for you to correct it yourself and to remember your mistakes.
Hello, Sir! How are you? Thanks for reminding me. :)
Hi, dear! Thanks for your efforts. Tanya corrected and explained everything very well. But I don't see any corrections made by you. Nice story.
Hello, Icha! Thanks for reading this! I'm glad you like it.
By the way, my name is Risty not Rusty. :)
Hi Rusty,
The nice story and your writing is understandable for me. I like the last sentence of your story 'Life is full of surprises'. It is the true fact, just do the good things and let the good surprises come to us :).
Thanks for sharing your story with us, here I can learn new vocabulary as well.
Thank you so much, Teacher, for such elaborative explanation. I was wrong about squeamish, I didn't understand the definition correctly.
Dear Risty, hahaha! I belive Dan will not lose the opportunity to comment your story! I sound softer for you because you know I am a woman. But as a teacher, I am much tougher than him. LOL!
Anyway, I have a lot of doubts that people can be squeamish about the sun. The sun is one of the sources of everything alive. Do you want to vomit seeing it in the sky? If it dies out one day (and it will sooner or later), we will die out together with it. So, to be squeamish is different feeling. Roman used this word correctly in his story. He said that one boy was squeamish about the mud, mold, worms and so on. He got feeling of disgust seeing them and was about to vomit. As to the sunlight, we may be allergetic to it, we may feel bad in its rays, we may even get sick and so on. To be squeamish means to be factidious and it is imposssible to feel anything like that about the source of our lives.
Clairvoyance is a noun. I understood what you meant and prompted you the correct expression. We can use this noun speaking about human abilities or science. But we mostly use it as an adjective like in my example.
Again, a freelancer is a noun. I am not quite sure if we can say so about mechanics. In America, we mostly say "self-employed". I am not a native speakes, OK? But I looked through the sites. Yes, we can hire a freelance mechanic to fix our car but I am not sure again we can say so speaking about famous companies. I mean, we can say so, but the situation, itself, is very doubtful. Such companies like Audi or BMW can hire freelance designers but I really doubt about mechanics as I drive Audi.
Hello, Teacher Tanya! Thank you for your corrections, at least you have a softer version. :D
I would like to ask questions;
Why we can't be squeamish about the sun? I thought the UV rays can give us some sensations that we don't like to feel. Please explain further teacher. Thank you.
Where can we use clairvoyance? this is a faculty of perceiving things--I meant by "playing" is funnily pretending yes as a clairvoyant. Thanks for this!
Should I mention there that he is a freelancer mechanic for Audi and BMW? I mean with two companies? But I know your explanation does make sense.
I will try to edit, Teacher and make it past tense.
Thank you so much!!!!
Hi, dear Risty! As Danny will not be available till the weekend, I will tell you which of the given words you used incorrectly.
1. People can't be squeamish about the sun. We can be allergetic to UV-rays, we may dislike being in the sun and so on. But we can't be squeamish about it.
2. "playing clairvoyance" is wrong. People may pretend to be clairvoyant.
3. A mechanic can't be a freelancer. He can be self-emplyed. Freelancing means different. First of all, there are many freelance reporters and operators. It means their materials are published or shown on TV but they are not the members of a team. There may be freelance translators/interpreters who don't work for this or that organization, but they are hired to do some translating from time to time.
And, of course, your story should have been written in the past tenses.
Thanks for taking part!
