We are born for a temporary existence, so we should use our time as good as we can. We shouldn't waste our time for hate, intolerance, misunderstandings, wars, prejudices ... why so many people do it????? Why do they think they are the rulers about our earth? Nobody rules our planet. What is a human life in comparison to the eternity? Our time is not measurable. But we can use our time usefully.
Life is temporary but we leave back many damages for the eternity. I do not speak about how we influence the global warming or other environment issues. Only one single generation is able to ruin everything for mankind. Just one ill brain can be responsible for the distruction of everything what people have created. Just one click can change everything. In the arsenals of the world are stored more weapons than are necessary to extinguish all life around the globe. Are there people they think they can survive? And if they survive ... why and for what kind of benefit or pleasure? There is not a valuable life after. And if there are surviver, then the remaining human beings are not the winner, they are the victims because they have to bear the results ... and one day they beg to die because there isn't anything to eat or to drink. Our planet will remain ... but everything will be  poisoned or destroyed ...that will be the future when people don't understand and learn, how to live with each other ... in peace.

We can start now and here ... all members are here because they had decided to learn English ... so we have a common langauge .... don't let us count our differences, let speak about what we have in common.

  • Dear Angelina,

I did not separate people in general in them and us... that's why I mentioned at the beginning of my sentence :  "WE shouldn't waste OUR time" ...... it was just a little mistake not to continue with :  "why so many people of us do it?????" At least if we speak about normal people like you and me ... that means, the majority of all people ... and if we speak about normal differences in life attitude and if someone is religious or not. If we only blame others, we should ask ourselves wheter we are always as tolerant as we expect or demand from others.
But it's also a fact that people exist which we have  to see with other eyes ... in case we speak about genocide ... unfortunately it still happens on our world. Then we don't may to close our eyes in that case and it's our damn duty to judge about it.
This kind of people I want to separate from us ... they don't belong to  us  ... indeed.
I don't want been mentioned with them in the same breath.

  • You are right Estanis and you have understood my message very well. My last sentences have been the most important. But you know? Sometimes I can't believe what I read when I follow the discussions or chats here in the main room. Since I had not the best experiences when I had tried to participate ( often just ignored ... what happens to other members, too ), I stay invisible but I read sometimes what the members are discussing about. What I see is, it's always depend on the members which are in discussion in main room. Always the same persons poison the mood in main room. I don't know their reasons but I think they are not interested in constructive talks.
So I try to express my thoughts in my blogs from time to time. But ... unfortunately aren't these members interested to read blogs at all.... I take it with humour ... and don't worry, I don't believe we are close to the apocalypse yet. I am a positive thinking person also if my last blog did not show that so exactly.

  • It sounds like an apocalyptic speech or a dantesque vision haha...
o.k. That's not false what you've mentioned and it's good to read about this matters to be aware of the living situation but I will keep with your last paragraph. I believe we have more in common than things that separate us although having differences between us doesn't necessarily mean to argue. With politeness and a little bit of humour I'm sure all members here get along each other.
  • Dear Luci,

I agree 100% with you and with everything what you said. And unfortunately are you right, it's almost impossible to break the religious barrier. We don't want them to give up to believe if it helps them to bear their life but it shouldn't be excuses for everything. And waiting for something about they don't have any evidences for  existence isn't my thing. We have our own responsibility for our life and what we do.

    Thanks for your support.

  • Great blog, Rose! We should live our life, not just survive and watch passivly things around us! Nobody has ever given us a proof that there exists something like afterlife and it is kinda sad to me to see that some people think that life after this one will be something better and awesome and from such reason they simply don't appreciate, what they have, don't try harder to achieve their goals or don't take that seriously when somebody dies as they think they will meet one day again... people can start to work on what you said but I think religion is bareer, which is impossible to break....
