Last night, somewhere in Pakistan,a U.S. commandos ended the hunt for Osama Bin Laden. Do you think that, the fact that Al-Quaida's head was killed makes the world safer, or on the opposite, should we all be worried of what is going to come next as a revenge from the terrorists ?

My friends, i know it's a delicate topic to talk about, and i am not asking you if, what did the americans is right or wrong, or if we can find excuses to terrorisms acts. In fact, i have to admit that I have hesitated a lot before writting this blog but somehow, it's important for me to know how you feel about this.

Please don't let hate overcome you and try to stay objectif in your answer. We are not here to fight, but to try to understand. Thanks a lot.

  • To all those who answered this post.

I thank you very much all of you for giving me your precious opinion. In fact, i did write about this delicate topic because i wished to see how people here would react about it. I have been happily suprised by the moderation of most of your answers and believe me, it was for me a wonderful gift.

  • Do watch  this video , he has  supposed to died many years  ago.....Why was it hidden ?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnychOXj9Tg&feature=youtu.be

  • yes, I agree with you. I don't think death can be the solution. It may cause another revenge. It was reported that the terrorists have elected another leader to continue their activities. We don't find the right way to figure it out. Terrorism is still a big threat to the peace cause.
  • Dear Manuela, I think it's right that Bin Laden is dead, but the idea is still here.
  • No the real terror has not ended.

Can any one believe all what  the  Wests say too?

Where are the evidences?  Wha t about the Palestinaian issues : was Osama responsible for that too.?

Many say Osama was a US agent , (If it is true: real terror has not ended )

  • Osama' death ( if it is true) will not make the world safer because there are many kinds of terrorist around the world which have no  names or faces.
  • Bin Laden thinks should me killed. if US and European are sincere ,they have ability to control their habit in contact to these same people, physical omitting is not successful in long time, we need another way to improve and lead hot religion person to right and useful way .
  • Dear friends and others,

I thank you very much for your interesting answers. I am very happy and releaved to see that, this delicate subject has not generated outburst.

As many of you wrote down here, i think the fact that Bin Laden has been killed (and i really believe he was) won't give our world more security. There will always be all kinds of fanatics everywhere who will, for a reason or another, kill innocent people. The think is, not to enter in their "games" and to keep in mind that violence is NOT a solution to our world's problems. If we can, here on English Club, where all kind of people from different cultures and background are talking to each other, keep our heart and mind open to tolerance and understanding, we will somehow, make the first step towards a better world.

Thanks again to all of you, who were brave enough to answer to this "hot" topic. Tonight, i am proud and happy because i really didn't expect such "moderated" answers.

  • The palestinean issues are forgotten  nah?

  • The article posted in BBC quotes Prime Minister David Cameron saying that it is a great relief to the people around the world. He is also saying that he was the most wanted terrorist who had done many things such as 9/11 in London and many attacks which have killed many people.
