Once again I lost you, and
praying and whining to get you back
I wanted to feel, wanted to linger the moment
the way you came in my dreams last night.
but my poor memories are not helping me
killer time took you away like a gusty wind
now I am howling for you
like a barren field
I am crying for you
like the fallen leaves
cry for its past.

Nice to know, dear Alice and thanks for sharing your own experience.
So true Afro, I've had that experience too, sometimes great ideas come in my dreams, even perfect solutions to problems on hand but when the morning comes they are gone and I'm left with that kind of longing for it like you. But at least you have a great poem to show for it! :)
Nice to hear from you dara!
Kimon acho Afro? ari! Ap ko aik shaair bain? Hehe, ami jani na. I thought that you did not know how to make such beautiful lines of poetry.
Thanks @ Smith
@ Alice, would you believe me if I say, I wrote these verses for my poems which usually come in my dreams and just passed away with the morning sun. Yes, that night I pronounced some lines and decided to write them down in the morning. But when I woke up they all were gone and I became frustrated even I could not remember the background! So I write this one.
I can sense the grief and longing in your words. So nostalgic!
All the wonderful memories you brough me
Still linger in my heart
I smile from the sound sleep
Then a sudden gust of wind
There's no way I can find you
@ Elen, thanks a lot for stopping by.
@ Nimzaf....it sounds like you like to read poems, right?
