Dear Captian,
Today I went to do some volunteer work in a gerocomium with my classmates under my teacher's leadership.
I helped a grandpa massage his painful neck and listened to him. He has a son who lives abroad. He told me his son had asked him to live with them for many times since his wife passed away two years ago. But he refused. His son is an engineer and has married a foreign girl. So grandpa Lee doesn't want to interfere in their life. Yet he misses his grandson so much.
I think he is lonely. No family members are around him. But thanks for the gerocomium, he has the other grandpas and grandmas around. I hope I can visit him later. Alas! I made a decsion when I was in the gerocomium, I'll try my best to be a caring and loving nurse for the old people.
When I came back, I made a call to my grandma. She was so excited to hear my voice. Since I am studying in another province, I can not go back home easily. It's been more than half year since we stayed together at the beginning of this year. On hearing her voice, I sobbed...
I miss my family... Captain.
