Nikita's 9 Letters to Captain X...5e

Dear Captain,

Long time no contact. How's everything?

This time I don't want to talk about my work. Instead, I'd like to raise another topic. I'm sure you have a very excellent sense of directions since being at sea you need that skill. I can not distinguish west or east, just know left and right [sometimes even mistake them, hehehe]

Having a bad sense of directions keeps me indoor especially at nights. Last Saturday eveing I got lost when shopping with my workmates in the gerocomium. Finally they had to quit shopping to look for me. What a shame, yes?

Now even our grandpas and grandmas tease me with it. Do I have some ways to train my sense of directions in your opinion? Don't laugh, help me please!

Your birthday is coming again. How would you like to celebrate it?

My best wishes for you.

                                                                                                                     Yours

                                                                                                                     Nikita

  • Good saying! sometimes we loose our direction, but we do not loose our faith because, wherever we go, we go with all our hearts!

Thanks! And happy birthday to Nikta too? hehehe, their birthdays are in the same day~ giggling

  •        Sweety, tell Nikita that; yes, sometimes we loose our direction, but we do not loose our faith because, wherever we go, we go with all our hearts. And happy birthday to captain. God bless you Sweety.2388518065?profile=original

  • Good!

Tips:   kid/tease someone about something. So, the sentence may sound better if you reword it like this: Grandmas kidded/teased me about my poor sense of direction.

Sorry I'm recently so picky, but, in fact, I'm challenging you to make it to an even higher level because I think you have the ability or potential.

  • Thank you for your nice comment as usual, lil bro! Is your friend becoming better at directions now?

  • Really? OM Exp, I thought it was my own problem! hehehe

Let me try to correct it. How do you think the new sentences?

    Thanks!

  • Thank you, bro seeker! Any ideas for Nikta's question???

  • I have no idea about this but my friend have the same problem as you(Nikita). It is beyond a bad sense of direction. And people find it hard to believe that he can be so bad. He always describe it to people as similar to dyslexia but with directions, Almost feeling like he is lacking a magnetic center of direction in the brain. So you could be on to something. In his case, it runs in the family too..... I think my this particular comments kinda match to your after a while  intervals blog. :DD

    Thanks for sharing.

  • It seems women are more likely to have a poor sense of direction - they may not be able to find their own home if they drive :))

English tips: be careful with the words "limit" and "kid" - they can be so tricky. Make sure you have used them correctly.

  • Yes! How do you know that?! Left handed person has worse sense of directions?

Do you have some branded compass? giggling~
