Dear Captain,
Fay came to visit me again. But this time she came alone. She told me a piece of bad news and a piece of good news.
The bad news was she had been sad for a long while because she broke up with her first lover, the cook who came to visit me with her last time when I celebrated my birthday. Fay didn't tell me the reason though.
The good news was she came out of those sorrowful days and she engaged herself to a military man. Next year when the spring comes back she will marry him. So I will be a bridemaid again. She knew him from one of the blind dates she attended.
I hope she can start a new happy life. But I feel a bit low again. Another best friend is going to be taken away from me. Alas!
