I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR A BETTER JOB; I FOUND IT, BUT I FIND IT DIFFICULT TO TELL MY ACTUAL BOSS THAT I AM LEAVING. I FEEL AS IF I AM BETRAYING HIM MAINLY THAT HE RELAYS COMPLETELY ON ME IN THIS POINT OF SERVICE; UNFORTUNATELY HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT MY LOWER INCOME.
SO,WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO TELL HIM AND LEAVE IN PEACE.
NB: I HAVE BEEN IN THIS JOB FOR NINE YEARS .

your place of work is your second home, those were the words that I always remember ... if you are uncomfortable, leave and find gainful employment and make you comfortable. say something to your boss with the good words that make you don't feel betraying him. Poeple appreciate honesty and you, more than anyone else, know what is best for you. So, I think you go bravely and honestly tell him that you are going to leave your job. Appreciate him for all the things he has done for you and tell him that you like to be there but, at this moment, this is a good choice for you to make a change in your life. So, in my view, if he is a good logical person and really cares about you, he will understand. If not, be sure that he is not a good boss at all. After all, you should be comfortable with your current situation not him and he cannot make a dicision for your life. This is YOUR life.
So, don't feel guilty. You don't betray anyone. This is not betray. It is betrayal if you leave him withought saying anything to him. So, honesty is really precious and people appreciate it. In the end, "Go for what you really want not for what you know you can get", this is a quote from a wise man. So, Go and be happy!
