Statisticians say that people see ghosts in England more often than anywhere. And these facts were officially registered. Inhabitants who live on British islands saw 147 ghosts in all. Inhabitants from Spain saw 99 ghosts, in France - 48 and in Belgium - 32. In the rest of the countries people see ghosts rarely.
Scotsmen like paranormal phenomenon more then other.
There are some castles where ghosts had been seen:
- Blickling Hall (the ghost of Anna Boleyn)
- Dunster Castle (A man in green)
- Quarry Bank Mill (there're many ghosts who are always abusing each other)
- Newton House (the ghost of Eleanor Cavendish, everybody who see her gasps for breath)
- Pluckley (this village teems with ghosts) and many others
