My first contact with English was in my middle school. I had been taught by a wonderful teacher by whom I was deeply inspired. I adored her fluency and tuneful pronunciation to the extent that the passion of being an English teacher had dribbled in me.
I worked hard to learn English Grammar step by step. However, a problem hindered me. Despite the fact that I had excellent marks and got involved in some internal competitions, I was still unable to speak English freely and understand natives. Searching for a solution for this, I found that communication is the best one. I was confused how to communicate in English as I had no one to speak with .This was a weak point for me , yet ; it couldn’t be an obstacle in my pursuit of learning English. I used to face the mirror and talk to myself, or record my voice and try to listen to it and detect my weaknesses .I was the teacher and the student at the same time .Latter, I started listening to English songs and watching movies. With time I made a remarquable progress. Finally, I turned to online courses; I passionately subscribed in some useful sites for ESL learners communicating with peers and even tutors .this really affected positively my English level and was the breakthrough in my life. From that, I realized that I had broken a barrier and paved the way for my dream to come true especially when I registered in English stream after my secondary school graduation.
All in all, learning English is my best experience in life. I learned a lot and I am very proud of what I have reached, yet I am eager to go further in this field. Who knows everything is possible “where there is a will, there is a way “.
