In spite of my fervor of travelling escort to many fold when I found same fanaticism in my hubby too. Every year we plan to visit a new place. He wants me to explore all the places which I never had seen before in my life. This time, we had designed our sabbatical in Nainital. Apart from Travelling, Driving is the second great obsession about my husband.

Reaching a place through own car was far beyond a fantastic adventure we had together. Left home by 4 in evening as we had downloaded a route map from Google for our drove by road. Nevertheless, we had wasted our 3 hours in getting the right place connecting NH24 to Nainital. Then by 7 we had conviction that we were on the right way to our purpose. We had drived non-stop reaching our target as per our deliberate plan of hang out next morning. We had kept a lot of snacks and cookout in our car to keep eating and keep moving further. We had stopped our car only at Gujarawala, district, UP where we found a hub for good dine. We had ordered pizza at domino’s and enjoyed the mouth-wateringly and the tastier one Then we packed two tikki burgers from MCdonald with two cups of cold drinks to eat them in car in scurry again to reach the goal. When we reached the district Kashipur there were two different roads one going to Kashipur and one to Nainital,it was very dark & late at that time so we had turned a wrong way as there was nobody to help us out.

Soon we had seen a light of a bike from remoteness, on giving my hand out of the window, the biker helped us to find the right way. When, we had crossed Jim Corbeet, National Park, the road was very terrible first time we felt shocking when our car went upside down in mud; loaded trucks with material coming from right and left side of the narrow road in the situation of in between in two trucks not getting way out, the road was very dreadful further too.

Soon we had reached the direct way to mountains there was no lights, no lights only a road paint showing us the way where it was taking us we were following, as we were driving as was on mountain round round in the dark night round round we were reaching a height, surprisingly by 3 am at night we the darers in Nainital.

We had not booked any hotel for us in advance, but we had got someone ready to take us to had a room in his hotel.I had viewed the naini lake for the first time, the water was so still in the dark pitch of sky. Coming out of the car, the weather was very cold there even in the month of September, the night was very cold and we both are shivering, after getting the room we both had slept been badly tired with an anticipation to wake up early to gaze the view outside. We waked up by 8am in the morning, got ready dressed up, and packed up in jackets as the weather was cold there. Had a wonderful breakfast at Hotel room, came out of Hotel, went out walking, viewed naini lake in the morning light, the weather was awesome. We had taken the pleasure of boating in the naini lake after a few walk. We had enjoyed  clicking  photos their while sitting on the swan boat self padded boat actually. Some swans swimming on the next end of lake view was beautiful. Enjoyed putting hands in the water and had great fun there.

Then we enjoyed a cup of tea on road side stall. Got way to Trolly climbed stairs to reach above to have a Himalayan view through trolley. Got ticket entered trolley overwhelming, mind-blowing the gaze of Naini Lake – mango Shape, excitingly rock on finding myself so high viewing the lake calmness and covered with mountains above ultimate in the lap of nature. Then the trolley left us above to enjoy there for full one hour – on our going above we found a place where there were so many rides, Trekking, banging jumping, rope climbing, We sat on ride named Free Fall – Going to a maximum height then falling suddenly,repeat 2 times, Through Height the view of Himalayan peak was great, I felt like touching the sky, then some time  left we enjoyed Maggie there with hot tea. Then we came back to down mall road of Nainital We went to Nena devi temple , then went to a Chinese restaurant on mall down, Had a hot & sour soup there, ordered veg momos too. The taste of chinese food was very delicious.

Then we went back to our hotel room to relax then again we enjoyed at Mall road in the evening time. Had tomato soup then followed by dinner. Then in morning we had plans to go further to had view of other lakes on our way back to home.
