Dear Lady Ann,
I am glad to see you and hear from you.
Ann, I am fond of history, always think that people who lived there, when I was touching something slightly, I try to see & feel their presences.
I am deeply effected by ;
How did they live ?
What their lives were like ?
What was experiences they had ?
What about their feelings, what was the meaning of life for them ?
Shortly, Full of historical curiosities !
Very exciting, isn't it ?
Thanks for your kind compliment, I was flattered.
I'd love to keep in touch with you :)
Best,
Selma,
Galina, Galina, Galina,
My dearest friend,
Thank you for kind reaction to my endeavor which gave it meaning.
I hope that the members of EClub can recognize and also see how great history there in.
As Princess Michael of Kent said,
" Do you know the link between Russia and Britain ? "
Great question for readers that made me surprised :)
Besides all these,
thanks for sharing the film, video, book, great temptation for me :))
By the way, GREAT THANKS for dedicating your blog to a simple EC member like me. I am deeply honored, Selma!
You look like an actress Selma with different starring roles to take. I was pretty amazed with the pic where you were dressed like a captain encircled by those antique items. It must feel great wearing that hat on your head.
Did you actually wear the crown and hold the scepter? Where on earth was this? Oh my, that's really something great to experience.
You are very adventurous indeed, enamoured of embracing memorable memories in your mind. It's once in a lifetime and I could see that you did really enjoy your time.
If I were in your stead, I would probably be tongue tied and mesmerized by those exquisite glittering chandeliers. I would be speechless and lavishly look at the grandiose that surrounded me. Oh my, Selma, I bet you must be smiling even in your sleep after this amazing trip.
Thanks for sharing the joyful feeling. I can also feel the happiness welling up inside you.

Anna Karenina is one of my favourite books. I’ve reread it several times! Thanks for mentioning about the movie! I haven’t seen a new version with Keira Knightley. I’m going to see it as soon as time permits. Thanks for presenting your Anna Karenina TV Series. I like the video.
My favourite version is our Russian film of 1967. I watched it several times in my childhood and later. I love the actors and their acting.

When I’m thinking about balls, I also remember an impressive scene from our Russian movie “War and Peace”. Natasha and Andrei's first Walts:
