Gizem and I got engaged that day and our family members met with each others for the first time. Gizem has been my girlfriend for three years before we got engaged. We decided to marry after three years and then I said my parents I wanted to marry with my girlfriend on the phone. One or two months later my parents came Istanbul to met her parents. First meeting was happened at their home. As per the Turkish customs firstly my father had to ask her father for permission to marry. Her parents talked between themselves and finally they allowed to marry for us. Our parents talked about our wedding plans after we wore an engagement ring. As per the plan we were going to marry two years later after we bought our all house ware. But we didn't want to marry two years later so we saved money up per month during that year. After that year we talked our parents to marry three months later. And finally we got married on 17 august 2014 at Istanbul. However our wedding ceremony was happened twice one of them at Istanbul and other at my hometown that's called Eskişehir.
