Today I will talk about my education. This is the calendar of my education. Six years elementary school, 3 years junior high school, 3 years senior high school, 5 years university, and 3 years graduate.
My favorite song is Meiyanfang’s Woman flower. I always think that different age woman is a different kind of flower. Girls in elementary school just like sunflower. Being protected so well by parents and teachers, my life was full of sunshine. Except playing and study, I needn’t to think about anything.
Girls in high school like rose, we were so warm, so beautiful, so sensitive, and with so many thorns. Rose should be red or pink, but my high school life mixed with so many black and white, so my rose is violet. My junior high school was a little black. Saying goodbye to my familiar things, I was sad in that time. My school was so chaos that even hooligans visited from time to time. They blackmailed and misguided the boys. My classmates were so naughty, they even made teachers fall into a rage to run off. Besides, as a commuter, shuttle bus took me many hours. I was always sleepy on class. Most of my lessons were taught by my father at night. My senior high school was one of the best school in our province, my life in there was blank, only work no play. Two persons were very important in this time. One was my father, another was Mr. Wang, my class advisor in senior high school. My father was an all-round person, he was perfect except his bad temper. What he gave me not only knowledge, more important was his understanding, his love, and his encouragement. I still remembered two words he said. One said before national college entrance examination. Twenty years later, Chinese economics was in nadir, college was the only way to lead a good life. Some students even took 8 years to pass the exam. Under such a big pressure, I was almost mad. My father told me,don’t worry be happy. Your happiness is my only wish. His words made me quiet, and I passed the exam smoothly. The second was when I searching my job before finishing my university. Too many people wanted to stay in Beijing, it’s very hard for a girl to find a good job without relationship. My father put down his work and came to Beijing to company me. I dare not to go to see the directors after so many times’ refuse. My father said to me, be brave, I am just here seeing you go in and waiting for you. That was winter, I talked with the director for one hour, and my father stood in cold wind for one hour. He passed away for 14 years, every time I met difficulty I will think of his words, then I will feel nothing is important, and get my courage again.
Mr. wang is the only touching person in my blank senior high school life. He was my class advisor and English teacher. It was difficult for him to teach senior high school after so many years in junior high school. So my class was the only senior high school class he taught. He companied us from 7 AM to 10 PM everyday, treated us better than his children. He was the only teacher to take us to travel in such a busy life. When we came back, the bus was broken, so it was very late on the way. We were all fall into sleep. When I was awake, I saw him stand against the door because the door had a gap, and cold wind would come in without his help. He was 50 years old and had a broken leg, but he stood all the way. With the New Year coming, other old teachers always received many cards from different universities. He admired very much, out of the sour grapes mind, he said, these students would only remember to mail for 1-2 years. I promised to him, I would send to you every year. I really kept my promise until 1998 New Year. My father’s death and the graduate entrance exam took all my mind. When in summer holiday, I came home cheerfully. That day was my sister’s birthday, I went to buy the birthday cake and wanted to visit him on the way. But I was shocked to know that he passed away just one month after my father. I cried and gave the money to his wife to express my condolence. My sister had a birthday without cake.
Sunshine came back to my shoulder in university. Too many stories, so I’d like pass them.
My graduate life is a procession from hell to heaven. The first two years life was really a nightmare. Full day’s work, having lessons at night and weekends, rescuing patients’ lives everyday made me never want to be a doctor any more. Things changed in the last year. I began to do research work and wrote thesis. More import, I had time to take a part time job, and I met my first boss, a Chinese Japanese. I was nobody in his company but he treated me better than his normal staff. I had my first mobilephone, my first laptop, my first experience of airplane and luxury restaurant, and the most important, the first bucket of gold. Using this money I invited my mother to travel, and paid some of my house downpayment.
All in all, my education career is just the history of my youth and my dreams.
