Pulchritude ... made to please the eyesight of humankind. How would we know the differences in between the opposites if we weren't enriched with all this comeliness, to be found all around us.
How would we know how to appreciate.
Pulchritude what is it? So fleetingly a term. Through decades Poets, Artists, Painters, Writers and Worshippers have tried through their works to give a clear picture of what is comely.
Did they succeed? I believe they must have, elsewise we wouldn't be repeating this sometimes cliche like sentence too often;
"Pulchritude is in the eye of the beholder".
Now what does that means exactly? Only true searchers of what is comely, is able to answer that. What some may find pulchritude may not for others be pulchritudinous and what may some find comely may not for others be comeliness.
But so is mankind, their search too often dwells only at the surface. True worshippers of pulchritude are those who would seek beauty from there, where it's not expected that the majority would see any.
On barren places one can find, in mud one can search, but most humans see only ugliness such places. Mud ... mankind was made of, so how come there can be ugliness resistant there?
Blessed are they
who see beautiful
things
in humble places
where other people
see nothing.
I don't know exactly whether I managed to use the given words in their proper context. Thank you for reading anyway.
