Regarding the starting points of the workshops for generalizing the teaching of the English language in public education in Morocco, Mohamed Zerouali, Director of Curriculum at the Ministry of National Education, said that the Ministry relied in its work on these workshops on the option of linguistic pluralism, based on multiple references, including the provisions of the Constitution, regulatory documents, and a strategic vision for the National Education sector, which includes the framework law. , Roadmap, and Procedural Framework 23.24.

He added in a statement to the Maghreb Arab Press that all of these reference documents establish the option of generalizing the teaching of the English language in public schools, while its application is also based on guiding principles, such as comprehensiveness, gradualism, and balance.
