It was a normal beautiful day and Roman the Clumsy Squirrel was getting ready to do his squirrel things (collecting nuts, reading EC blogs, etc). Nobody ever expects that anything bad could happen in a sunny autumn morning because all the horror things happen at night, during a storm, or on election days. So, there was Roman the Clumsy Squirrel feeling confident and safe: -"It is a very bright and nice day! Nothing bad can happen to me!*humming while walkin'*"

What the poor Roman couldn't have imagined is that, right behind the corner, in that beautiful nice day, was Mary the fierce (and starving) female cat, looking at her squirrel-shaped breakfast. The Clumsy Roman was so busy humming like silly and picking nuts that he couldn't see how Mary was right behind him, approaching slowly, closer and closer...

Okay, the easy thing now is to finish telling the obvious ending (very bloody too). But I prefer to make use of the "psychological terror" where not everything is told but suggested so, at the end, people feel scared at their own imagination and fears, which is usually worse than any fiction or narration...

Anyway, if still you can't find my story very 'scary', just imagine the squirrel as a metaphor of yourself and the cat as the tax inspector :P
