LIKE AND AS

               We can use like and as to say that things are similar.

 Like is a preposition, used before a noun or pronoun.

As is a conjunction, used before subject+verb or a prepositional expression.

 LIKE OR AS

  • He died ......................he lived, fighting.
  • Being in love is ..............an illness.
  • It's mended, ..................you can see.
  • In Paris, ................ in Rome, traffic is heavy. 
  • His eyes are ................ knives.
  • My brother isn't at all ............me.
  • She left ....................she came, silently.
  • You're shy,  .................. me.
  • Your smile is ..............your sister's.
  • ............... I said you're too late.
