Eva, you made a great first speech there! haha... I see you're calling for a more 'humanist' or 'liberal' vote! Yeah, I got your point and I had it in mind too... I'm one of those who give their vote to the 'green/ecological' party even if I know is not a 'popular' vote :D
You also said something 'funny' that I was thinkin' while analyzing this "EC Elections". You said: "we should try to think and see things from other perspectives, else wise there will be no differences in between MyEC Star Members List and this initiative" -- You're right there: Look at my 'experiment'... At the end is not being too different from the 'Top Members'! Doh! I hate to say that AG is gonna be right, damn it! XD
On the other hand, I'm also on the side of the more 'conservative/traditional' voters here. My vote went for one of our most popular and appreciated members, because what is 'obvious' also deserves to be rewarded too :)
I think it's good to take in mind different points of view before giving our vote. So, all kind of 'campaigns' are welcome! :D

I would like to say that everybody has their chance to make it here more active, right? Nobody has ever come to me and started supporting me and I have never expected it.. we are mature people and the best support is to leave nice comment :)
So to sum it up.. yeah nobody wants to see ofc still the same names but it is DAMN SAD that in this case we should vote for those who are unknown, or even left and weren't here...

Now, the question whether to consider non-active members or not-so-active members, I must say yes we should try to reach them out so they can participate more, you know what psychology says about reinforcement and encouragement. Of course, we are aligned to POSITIVE reinforcement, I see the logic of Luci, that how can we suppose to consider these people if they weren't active at all, if they are helpful or not. We should always look for the greater good. (Ehem, like I'm on the podium narrating a speech)
I think we should have another blog for those people, dedicated for those who are unknown.. just like Luci did when she wrote something about Bill and Chou.
Let's help others to be active, and if in case they don't want to, what a shame coming here for not learning anything at all.!
Maybe we should try to highlight some of them, I have so many nice people in mind, really, good people that are blog/dscussion/comments shy. :D

Dear Mary, I have always been very democratic and would be really happy if our people (not sheeple!) made their minds about the future of my country. But, unfortunatelly, 51 percent turned out to be SHEEPLE and had left PEOPLE to suffer from the wrong choice. So, I shut up! Let the sovereing nation decide!
