You breathe much life into my day

Just one more hug before you go away

You lift me up when I am down

You make me laugh as if a clown

I feel your heart,beat through my chest

To have this feeling sure is best

You bring a smile onto my face

When I feel my heart to quicken pace

Those days drag on when you’re not here

Just one more hug before you disappear

I long for the next time we do meet

And another hug for when we greet

In your hugs I feel so warm inside

When life itself is a cold still ride

In your hugs is the strength to seize the day

Where the rain and wind are pushed away

It then reveals another side of me

That will give you hugs, and hugs are free

How nice it would be to fall asleep

If hugs were blankets, and ours to keep
