Still working or enjoying your holiday?I'm still working and I will tell you something funny why we don't have a half a day free.This morning, one of our manager who is a woman came into Mr Nakao's office, who is Japanese--the boss. She asked " Today is International Women's Day. There are so many companies giving their woman-staffs a half a day free. Could you give us a half a day free, too?"Can you guess what my boss replied?

How could you dare to take a half day off for IWD if you didn't know of this custom? Then when can I take my day off? I thought we supposed to take it tomorwow as you said, 'When is International Men's Day (IMD)? Why not tomorrow?' Because I haven't publicized this new IMD, I don't think I can now take a day off tomorrow. Hey, all my fellow English learners (men only) in this Club! We shall take one day strike tomorrow and take a day off, OK? Shall we? Yes, or NO? (However, please don't tell my boss. Just be quiet! Ssshhh!)
I took a half day off for IWD without even knowing of this custom! My family and I took a drive to Toronto. It was a very warm day. The children played at a new playground and we had pizza and cookies for a treat. In the evening I went back to work to make up for the time lost. Just like a woman!

I felt funny after someone told me what he said. lol........
Maybe he replied that: To him, it would not be a womens day anymore, if there's no womens left to office to work with him. :D
