School bell rang. Teacher entered into the classroom. She asked the students to take out Maths note book and announced Maths test will be held on tomorrow. Everybody looks at each others face. Ram asks to Prasad, "Are you ready for the test?". Prasad says annoyingly, "Noooo".

"Maths teacher is strict. She will complain to our parents and I am really afraid of maths", Ram said by shaking head.

"Why didn't she tell us before one week?", Prasad frowns.

"Hey, I have a plan.", Ram snaps his fingers.

"What is plan?", Prasad asks by raising eyebrow.

"Do you know Ajay, Scholar, First bencher, gets always first rank, I heard that day he was talking about his lucky pen and I am going to steal that pen so that I can get good marks in Maths test", Ram whisper into Prasad's ear.

Prasad asks to ram, " But how will you do it?", "If someone sees?"

Ram says, "I will steal pen in lunch break."

During the lunch break Ram stole the lucky pen of Ajay. Ram goes to his home after the school and tells his Mom that tomorrow will be test of Maths and he sleeps in the afternoon.

After some time Ram's Mom asks him, "Don't you want to study of maths?".

Ram says, "Mom, this time i will get good marks."

Ram's Mom gets surprise but she asks him, "How? your teacher said your maths is weak. Now bring out note book. Let me take your study."

Ram's Mom checks his bag and she gets new pen. She asks to Ram, "Whose pen is this?. Ram hesitates to answer the question. Ram doesn't lie to his mom and tell the truth that he has stolen the lucky pen of Ajay for getting good marks in maths test. After listening this, Ram's mom gets shock because Ram stole the pen. She doesn't punish him for stealing the pen because next time he wont tell the truth.

She sighs with relief and says,"Look Ram, stealing is a bad thing. You can steal many things but you can not steal the inner qualities of person. Do you know? Ajay works hard to get a good marks. He studies seriously that is why he always get first rank. There is nothing with that pen. Lucky pen is just a superstition. For getting something you will have to work hard."

"I'll give you some problems of maths and you will have to solve these problem with Ajay's pen."

Ram starts to solve the problem but he was unable to solve anything. Ram understands his mistake. He says sorry to his Mom.

Mom says, "Ram, I know maths is really difficult for you. But I will help you in maths. I am sure you will slowly improve in maths. Everyday, you make a practice of maths." , "Do you know? Practice makes man perfect."

"My son, remember one thing... Knowledge is a inner quality, nobody can steal from you. But you will have to gain by learning."
