In every chat room, we can find some members who named themselves TROLLS, and they are not wanted!
In every malls, we can find trolleys and - they are really wanted especially if you shop more than what you can "chew" (*_^).
Well, I was reading the main room a while ago and I captured interesting chats from some members how to cope with the TRolleys ...oops i mean Trolls. Quite interesting views.....take a look !
EC friends --> Trolls will always be there, so as what Bon Jovi said : It's my life, its now or never ! or you can be a Lenka' fans : Trouble is a friend ya, troll is a friend of mine.....(hehehehe)
Here are some of them :

Interesting blog about chat room from a new member. So, I guess the point is that we should stop ban and let these people to be around, right? And that they should be allowed to do whatever they want to. After all, there is freedom of speech when people are free to say what they want to.
I think there is another point that we should see. If permanent ban cannot solve the problem, and what will suspension do? Will people change their attitudes just because they are suspended temporary?
There were times when the admins told me that they would stop to ban members and asked members to just ignore the troublemakers and trolls. But, the reality was the method didn't work.
In every moderated forums and chat rooms, ban is a must have even though it doesn't solve the whole problem.

Thanks for your comments.
Yea I agree with ya Anele as there is a saying : "Never wrestle with a pig, you will both get dirty and pig likes it"
The more you provoke them, the more they'll come to sow trouble. This generation has seen enough of these rebellious thoughts and actions from these trolls. They will always be part of everyday life in the chatroom.
So always brace yourself up for these "attention-getters" but don't forget that you are there to practice your English and not to develop hypertension caused by nonsensical exchange of bitter conversation with these "unfriendly ghosts", hehehe.
But if you can tolerate reacting to their "blah-blah", help yourself. Just make it sure that you will not be banned together with them. OH! What a shame!
My very special thanks to ALLEN from The Philippines for helping me with finding a suitable title for this blog. I love it ! Thanks a lot ALLEN !
Hi IAV,
Lemme quote your statements "Knights who say Ni who had suspended before banned, I joined in the quarrel between him and Heaven. Heaven couldn't accept his arguments, it didn't mean he was wrong and had to be punished. (Anyway, who knows where the two persons are now?) Should we have a referendum before banning a member as vote for the star member of the month? Be reported by the minority of people and then get banned, it is fair for all members?"
Your questions are worth to be considered, well thought !
I would love to see comments from other members abt this thought, IAV !
EC is a public website that allows all internet users to be able to access and create an account to do it. It's unavoidable to have all types of members, too, from destroyers to builders. That's why websites need to have moderators and spambusters to moderate the website working appropriately as it must be. They set rules that request users have to follow, but these rules are applied accurately? It can be rigid, cannot acceptable for certain groups of people, but after all, it's rules.
NH, thanks for the comments !
You have interesting insights too ! Love it !
Thanks !
