I have just come from my office, and that travelling in public bus (in my city) is really horrible. This one hour travelling gives me fatigue double than the tiredness of the entire day work. So as also happened today. The bus was jam packed, all the people were sweating (even we have winter, but it is not cold). I was having pushups and down in the bus by the moving passengers and the conductor. My dress keeps its tidiness the entire day of work, but after I got down the bus, it all goes wet with perspiration, and dirty by the shoes of the other passengers.
So it was also the same today and I was lying on my bed downtrodden staring at the sky through my window. There were birds flying in the sky. A thought popped up in my mind, “if I had Wings”, too. I felt it would be a grand thing to have a pair of wings. I would also be skimming over the air like one of these happy creatures of the sky.
If I had a pair of wings, what would I do then? In the first place I would be free from botheration of conveyance. There is such a rush in busses that it has become a punishment to travel. I would not worry about this kind of hardship at all. I would just spread my wings and sour up in the air. In a few moments I could reach anywhere I liked. I would be my own helicopter, but how much better than any helicopter? I would just have flown where I like.
If I had wings I would not worry about getting a seat in any public vehicle, I would have my own wings. They would take me just where I liked, without any payment and without any botheration of getting a seat reserved. When I reach my destination I would just dip my wings and alight exactly on the spot of rendezvous to meet my beloved, even I took her in my arm and fly high in the sky with her in my arms.
Yes, it would be as easy as that if only --- but there is a big IF ----- IF I HAD WINGS!

Thanks for your nice comment.
I wish I had wings too.... I’d find myself a place away from all these wordly problems. A quiet place... Somewhere, far away. Where only I’d stay and enjoy my own company. And I’d visit you too, Pa. :P
You have a beautiful imagination! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Rose. I am glad you like the imagination.
Mashaikh,
it's the eternal dream of humans to be able to fly. It makes us write poems, stories, fairy tales and let us imagine it as if it were true. It's our reality in the endless fantasy of our spirit. How easy it would be traveling! We could reach everything in shortest time. No one would be able to stop us.
We can't fly and we know that but who knows, one day, it will be possible. Many things we had just dreamed of still many years ago became reality.
I enjoyed reading your description of daily traveling with public buses and your wish to be able to fly.
Sure I will take care Icha.
Many thanks for your correction to me Mishaikh, don't hesitate to do it again in my other comments.

That is why Allah is called OMNISCIENT (all knowing).
Thanks again.
If I had wings I would fly to my home, see my beloved family, because I life separate with them now. I did'nt need buy a train or airplain tickets if I want to go home and I could go there at anytime and wherever I were. Only flapping of my wings and then I could fly, enjoyed the fresh air that entered my lungs and the beautiful views that caught by my eyes. IF I HAD WINGS.
Mental and physical exertion sometimes makes us travel to our favourite place through imagination where we seeks comfort, peace and tranquility.
Thanks Elena for your sweet comment.
