Idioms and their role

There is no denial of fact that idioms are those add beauty to one's speaking and writing and yet plenty among us have experience is when they talk throw group of idioms carelessly which is totally vain . As a matter of a fact, they are thought to be informal completely.Today anyone among us or others who go for attaining some kinds of herculean exams and jobs they apply but fail owing to 30 to 40 percent of using idioms is just because idioms keep giving cystic meaning whereas those who interview don't simultaneously go for meanings at ones and give negative marks. There are even some of the departments which give especial trainings and guidance suggesting not to use idioms in speaking when mainly being interviewed .
some idioms are here to tell you their informality. 
1 Rational animal > human Being
2 to work like Cat's paw > to serve like a servant regularly.
3 to lick the shoe > to praise s/one even if one is not having those guts.
Thus, above given examples assure that structurally they are informal and shouldn't be used with elders or in any highly profiled program but with friends and in friendly atmospheres.
