Can anyone tell me when women started using head gears? Am I sounding a bit different today? I hope not but this question has been buzzing into my mind for some days.
So far I know and how I can guess, women around the globe wear it and of course these women belong to different nationalities/races/religions. Here, I would like to mention head gears are not only beautiful scarfs, it can be hat, orna (which is known in Indian-subcontinent), the end part of a sari and yes, here you can add if you have different types of it....please feel free to share.
I would like to say it has many purposes and it is a part of women-clothing. Though many people tend to think, it is only a religious object. Now, let me say about its purposes.
1. It is very useful in sunny and hot summer days. Once I had been in Dubai during summer. In the first day we went out to having lunch. Oh ..my..the sun was too vigorous, I couldn't but just put my 'orna' on my head. I gave some portion of it to my kid and felt bad not being able to share it with my hubby as it was not that much long!
2. In my country there is too much dust when we do not have rains. So, when I went out on foot ( I rarely do it), I need to cover my head with an orna.
3. It has a religious value, of course, but in my country no one pressurize me. And, I can say women from different religions wear it. So, here some women put orna on their head, some not.
But, my question is why people tend to think that head gears only belong to Muslims women? Have you never been an witnessed wearing this sort of clothing by women of another religions?
In my thinking it is a part of women clothing which has been using for many years back! And, I also know during rituals of every religions more or less women do cover their head/hair, am I right?

Thanks a lot, Misha. I read it.
Bet, read Sura Noor, In the Qura'an. You will find your answer.
Ah, now I got it. So, Ukraine absorbed these teachings from Orthodoxies that only used the PART of the Bible which is Matthew's. That is why they have their OWN teaching. A Christian should follow the word of God as a whole not as a part of it, as it is not considered complete. The Bible I know that I considered the most scientific book remains true from 3,000 years ago up to date. Sure Teacher, I can read some additional pieces of evidence to prove the authenticity of the Bible from our History and Science books. But other references are to support the scriptures so the present time will understand its truthfulness.
Thanks for those sites given. I will try to read it.
Btw, I have read only one church in the Bible, the church of God that is written for 11-14 verses.
P.S. I know atheist read the Bible more than those who claim they believe the book but proven otherwise. They should do that, how to go against the book without knowing its content.
Dear Risty, I know that you read the Bible (I read it, too) and it says nothing about Orthodoxes, Catholics and Protestans. The Bible had been written many years before the Byzantine Church started passing through the reforms. However, Orthodoxes are not Hebrews. Their book is called the Gospels, which is a part of the Bible (from Matthew) also called the New Testament of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (pay attention to the word NEW). You can easily find this information in the net. If you read only the Bible you will learn nothing new. Here are a few links:

Teacher, do you mean that 1575-85 http://www.dictionary.com/browse/orthodox word is the oldest branch of Christianity? and the word Catholic in the early of the 2nd century. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catholic_(term)
Because I have read the Bible. There is no slightest mention of orthodox and catholic there. Even the holy trinity isn't there.
Maybe they are using their own book.
Dear Bet, Pagan religion is faith in many gods like in ancient Greese, Roma and Middle East. People worshipped to many different gods like a god of rain/harvest/love/wine etc.
Thanks, Tanya for informing us time to time. It seems I should read some myself to get a clear picture. Anyway what is pagan, yes, I heard about it but have no clear idea.
Risty, again you need to do paraphrasing....for your second part...sorry, dear!
