I'd say ''Thanks'' You?

You’re doing no one any favors when you say “sorry” whenever you do something wrong, unless you’re Canadian. Most people mutter ''sorry'' when they mess something up and of those people who think that by saying ''sorry'' they'd be off the hook, there are some smart a** guys who make up a lame excuse for what they've done. Oooooh! That really ''grinds my gears''. How about showing a little bit of appreciation? People have no idea how many doors a simple ''thank you'' would open. Let me show you how using “thank you” instead of “sorry” works.

You're late. Again!

Say: ''Thank you for your patience.''

Don't say: ''Sorry I'm always late.''

You're going out of your comfort zone and you're talking about your problems or whatever that's buggin' you. Non-stop!

Say: ''Thank you for understanding me.''

Don't say: ''Sorry I'm not making a lot of sense.''

You're friend agrees to hang out with you.

Say: ''Thank you for spending your time with me.''

Don't say: ''Sorry I'm kind of a drag.''

You're talking to some one.

Say: ''Thank you for listening.''

Don't say: ''Sorry I'm just rambling.''

Some one has supported you, no matter what. But you couldn't make it Send them a card. Do Not send them a text message. That's just...

Say: ''Thank you for having hope in me this whole time.''

Don't say: ''Sorry I'm such a disappointment :(''

To wit if you could say ''thank you'', don't half a** it with a ''sorry''.

NB. I'd like to have a special shout out to Yao Xiao for her comics.

Thank you for reading!

  •  if we just know that appreciation and encouragement do miracles we will never complain or say anything nagative,

    If only.

  • Dear A7, if we just know that appreciation and encouragement do miracles we will never complain or say anything nagative, but being human we are so forgetful and when we are angry or out of patience the first thing we do is to act nagatively or talk nagatively.
" thank you " for sharing such an amazing post.

  • I am uncontrollably falling in love with this kind of writing as well as intellectuality in the blog

I'm not looking for anything serious right now.

    A738a's blog

Say nothing and wait for what question he asks you? Does he worry about your being late...

I'm not sure he'd be concerned about you when you've made him wait  for say, two hours. I see a punch comin' in that mug of yours and not a ''Oh, are you OK? I've been waitin' here for hours. I coulda done somethin' useful with my life, but never mind. How ARE you? I'm really worried about you right now.''

    And scene...

    Yeah, not gonna happen, dude.

  • Wow what piece of information. mind-boggling blog. I am uncontrollably falling in love with this kind of writing as well as intellectuality in the blog.

    When you are late
Say neither thank nor sorry. Rather, say the train has left, now wait for another train. :D
Or you can say, "it's useless to cry over spilt milk." :D

Joking aside, when you are late.
Say nothing and wait for what question he asks you? Does he worry about your being late or gaze at you with anger? If he enquire the reason of being late, you should politely explain it. It means he worries about you. :)

    @Marry,
When you say to someone, "I am not going to change ( try to prove incorrigible person), (s)he will change himself by changing you (replace you by another). People like flexible person nay rigid and stubborn. :)
