:( I'm fine :)

Do you know anyone around you, who tries so hard to be chirpy during the family get-togethers, or in a friend's birthday party, but the moment the fun's over they look like a poster child for depression ads?

You think to yourself maybe I should go to them, give them a friendly nudge and say:" Hey pal, everything alright?" But in the end you just smile at them, they smile back and that's that.

Next time, go and ask, before it's too late.

In loving memory of my best friend...

  • That's a nice way to remember someone, very poetic.

  • What you shared touched my heart, A7.

You know it's my friend's birthday today. Her birthday comes every Feb. 14 so I won't surely forget her. :)

  • No need to apologize. That's sweet of you. The fact of the matter is that he is always a little boy who used to steal cookies for me in my mind.

  • That's what we do here. My apology if I shared our belief, it slipped my mind that we are from different countries.

Maybe you wouldn't believe it (but, I like to believe this),  a friend comes to me as a moth. Wherever I am in the world. I see that moth when I am new to the place and sometimes before I leave the place. So, I always pray for her.

  • Sure thing. Take care.

  • Next time your friend visits your mind, please pray. He now needs it more than anything else.

    Good day!

  • You are so right dear.  "we should ensure them that we would be there for them no matter what." This is literally the best thing a person can do for their friends. Many thanks:)

  • Dear A738, sometimes they are waiting for a friend to ask them 'are you ok' so they can pure out their hearts. But sometimes as dear Marry said if they don't let you in, you can't help them even if you desperately want to help them. The only thing is that we should ensure them that we would be there for them no matter what.
  • Thanks a million. Take care of your friend.

  • I'm so sorry... I know we all say many times that 'everything will be ok', when we perfectly know that it might not happen. But it's like a 'mantra' we need to say.

My friend had a really hard depressive episode last year but now everything is ok again. But you never know... this disease is always there and the worst thing is that there is not much you can do. It's like a personal battle. I can imagine why you feel kind of 'guilty', but probably there wasn't much you could do. Don't torture yourself, because now you're doing a good thing sharing this message here.

    Hugs.
