EC blog part is one of my favorite parts on this site and I have benefited from it. It offers us learners a good chance to practice our writing. Writing is no doubt a useful method to test your words and expressions. It is also a fine platform to share your sparkling ideas with the others.
The blog part is of various advantages yet there exist its flaws. One of the flaws is about the correction part which some members have considered before. I also have been thinking about this issue for a long while, according to my experience here I come up with a naïve idea to share with you.
As far as I am concerned, the reasons that this part is still in a blank can be: 1. There are not as many teachers or advanced learners as the bloggers here; 2. the teachers or those whose English is good don’t have enough time due to their own work; 3. Some of them are afraid of misleading the bloggers or hurting the blogger’s face even blowing their confidence.
My idea contains 3 steps.
First, recruit members to form a correcting team. The part is significant since it may affect the quality of the team and the efficiency of this job. So it needs the moderators and teachers’ help. I know it’s not an easy mission though. But I am sure it deserves your care.
Second, allow me to elaborate what the volunteers have to do. We choose 7 blogs to correct every week. After correction, repost the blog and the corrected blog. Through the contrast the other members can read the corrections and learn from them.
Third, the teamers answer members’ [who leave comments below] questions and interact with them.
I am not sure if my idea is practical because theory is often easier than practice. There may be many unexpected difficulties. But I do hope we can make the blog part better.
By the way, the volunteers don’t have to be here everyday, you can log in whenever you have time.

Hi Sweety, really it is a very effective idea. Yes, it needs not only a time, but also a strong enthusiasm and a patience from the corrector, but its conclusions would be more than priceless.
Allow me my little princess I have a very small idea which is; let the EC's managers classify all EC members into groups. Every group has his own corrector, which is specified by EC's managers. And we as a members could pay a symbolic price to our corrector as a kind of valuation to his or her efforts.
Finally, I wish you the happiness of finding a new lovely idea to share it with us.
