Nice day with blue sky and bright sun shine so far.... but I do not know 2 or 3 hours latter, it's unpredictable weather. lol
I am chemist, I love chemistry and I work at Laboratory Quality Control in the chemistry company, organic chemistry. Wearing goggle, gloves, lab coat every day, because safety first in my lab. Sometime I am close with dangerous compounds, but sometimes not. I enjoy this job. You know what, my job is appropriate with my education. My major is Chemistry, Sciences faculty and my minor is Organic chemistry. I read a lot of book, correlated with science, especially chemistry and also Physic.
As long as when I was in University, only Indonesia used as educational languages, just sometimes my professors use English, not in every their subject. all of books we used in University is using English, so I always find any difficulties in every subject.
And then I decided to join in English class every Tuesday and Friday afternoon. It helped me in enriched my vocabularies, but I still feel difficult when I start conversation in English. There is nothing support around me. They (my friends) always used their mother tongue for communication. I really want to have friend who can speak English, so I hope I can learn from there. Sometime I feel not confident when speak up.
I keep trying to improve my English by writing a blog here. Sometime I do not understand what I've written here, but it's not a big deal, because I am pleased after I wrote like this. I do not care no one read my blog, but the essential thing is I have done what I want to do. And I appreciate, really really appreciate anyone who have read my blog and give correct for my mistakes or just give the comments.
I am happy being here....
Regards,
English learner

Hi Surawan, thanks for sharing with me. I love my job too. Nice having you here.
I hope we can share about our job lol...
Have a nice day
I ‘m a chemist, too. I studied mainly organic chemistry and polymer science including with analytical , physical, synthesis chemistry. When I was at the university, all text books are in English and the professors gave the lectures in English but they explained in Thai. A few subjects were taught by the professor who was from UK.
I also work in the same environment ,in the laboratory, like you. I often touch many hazard chemicals and try to avoid
Most of the hazard chemicals are organic compounds such as solvents , pigments , resins and additives.
A safety Goggles, a pair of gloves, a mask and a lab coat are things in need for me.
I work in research and development department and I sometimes responsible for quality control in case of the products have problems. I enjoy my work because it ‘s not stressful or difficult due to having educational background for it.
nice blog :)
Charie... Thanks.
Oh, I am Chemist and I am a supervisor Quality Control Laboratory in a chemical company. I studied in University of Gadjah Mada in my country.

HI Donny,
Keep on writing... I love to read new blogs on EC but, I am wondering about you're doing? Can I ask you some question? What did you study in university? Are you a Pharmacist or a Chemist?
By the way, I got interested because I'm a Pharmacist from Philippines but presently residing in VietNam to teach English for Teenagers.
You have a nice blog everyday.... As if this is your journal.... hehehehe.... Keep it up my friend!
Wow, I'm the first one here. Coolest!
Donny, I know someone like yourself.
He's somewhere in Europe, also working at a science lab if I'm not mistaken.
He's also learning English.
Personally, I think you did a great job writing this blog.
I understood the message you're trying to convey.
Errrr...what is it about again???
Kidding!
Anyways, just keep writing and writing and your improvement will increase tremendously.
You'll be surprised to learn of your own potential.
Good job, man!
