Take it easy? Sure... Because you're so narrow minded that you can't even see what kind of offensive comment you made for women of my culture.
I'm fed up of having to deal with sexism and discrimination. But of course, you don't see it as a 'bid deal' because you don't live with it almost every day as I do. "Take it easy"? No "Sir" English learner: Nothing is "easy" for a woman in a world with people like you, who can't even see why is bad to tell a woman not to show herself as 'female' for not to 'distract' the opposite gender.
But okay, since you can't see where is the offense there because your "culture" doesn't allow you to see no further than the end of your nose, here I am for telling you. Now that you know, you could even think about an apology, instead of keeping your offense asking me to 'take it easy'. But ofc... you're probably too proud to apologize to a woman.
Hey miss. Mary, take it easy, okay? I just wanted to get the point across that this is a very good place to learn English and we should stay focused on that goal only. Anyway, thanks for your preaching ma'am.

"Sir" English learner, before learning English, first learn manners and learn how to respect people from different cultures. I can understand and respect your culture, but I can't respect discrimination and bigotry. Your culture allows discrimination towards women and I guess for you it's something pretty normal to treat women as 'evil' creatures who "distract" poor men. Ok. But this site is for people with different cultures and backgrounds. I belong to a different culture, where women can wear whatever they feel like and say their FEMALE NAME without "distracting" anybody. I've female muslim friends who I would NEVER DARE to ask them to take off their hijab for talkin' to me and they will never dare to ask me to cover myself for talking to them. And that is called: RESPECT FOR EACH CULTURE. So, don't come here and "suggest" women to change/"cover" their female names for a neutral one and not to 'distract' guys around here with their 'sexy' female names. Try to think with your brain instead and talk like a serious man and not like a horny teenager.
If you want, you can easily avoid to 'distract' yourself talkin' with women here. You just can read their female names so, at the end, that will help you to avoid us. And other thing: Who cares if you call yourself "English learner"??? According to you, you came here yesterday and now ALL EC KNOWS your gender. So, your 'neutral' nickname here is totally pointless now.
