Humanity Lost

Loneliness, a presence of someone who always has been there even before you were ;
the unseen side of being alone.
The forgotten vaguely in a touch …a scent …a pain light as a mist. . .
gone… leaving you to fathom what forever was without a name...

  • Hi Alice

    Nice to see you.

  • Hm.... First of all, i'v read the comments of your affectionate O'friends, and as a consequence i've to warmly welcome your return to My-EC.
Gosh!! What does that mean?!! "Humanity Lost" .We're used to say " A tree is known by it's fruit" , i.e the good title will carry a good message. Besides in the very first instance, the title what capture our attention and grabs ourselves to read a book, an article or a blog ..etc. It's a Husky Title "strong and attractive".
Holy dooly!! The blog's picture already has enchained my heart, and engrossed my mind, It struck a cord at the time whilst my emotional exhaustion had worn me out. An appropriate BP may dispense with many words.
Heavens to Betsy! I've been lost for words, endeavoring to comprehend your abstruse Shakespearean piece of text  "your poetry". It's concise figuratively rather than literally. Whereat i read the title, i thought you'd write about something abused it. "Humanity" that heavy term carries a load of the qualities or characteristics considered as a whole to be characteristic of human beings; as being philanthropic, kind, gentle, polite, civilized, ... so on, or having all the attributes of the seven virtues "as chastity, temperance, charity, diligence, patiencekindness, and humility. Thus it will be the end of our lifetime if the Humanity is lost. I can't asseverate that It's lost, but it's assured that we live out our life on what's left of humanity.
The sense of loneliness may seize you, even if you are in a company of some certain people who may not able to feed your spirit, touch your heart, reach your mind or motivate you
physically.... so on, whatever it takes place you may feel loneliness.
"Loneliness, a presence of someone who always has been there even before you were". A marvelous line, i inquired myself; who will be always here where no one except me is presence ?! Oh!! It's me. I'm that person who always value, know, talk, fight, love, ...etc. myself. I'm not alone there's someone inside talks to me, an inner spirit not my conscience, but someone knows me better than anyone else.
Excuse ma bad sense of poetry, i've scarcely comprehend your satirical piece of poem.
And i have no more to write, honestly i miss the formula to link the Title with Loneliness; through out reading the comments, it's obviously that our O'friends got it, except me.

  • ...but alas, a silver lining has started to remove the thick smudge-like darkness surrounding it...

Sorry for being such a spoil sport, dear Alice! I just like to shower a good vibe here since we're already living in a cruel world. But of course, your comeback is such music to my ears... :)

  •  Hi Dear noaspls!  Missed you too and thanks for your greetings on my wall while I was up and about with my hectic life!  There was a time when a dreariness held me captive and so the poem echoed that, I am glad you were able to grasp that sentiment from my words. Wonderful to see your thoughts on my blog again! :)

  • Welcome back Alice E. I missed your lovely blogs, but I can understand that real life is more pressing than EC. :) :)

Why do I suddenly feel so melancholy with your sentence "what forever was without a name"?

  • Hi Mary! Love that thought!  This cat is happy to have been missed by the cat woman as well! :)

  • Hi Evangelina!  What better homecoming than to have EC's brilliant commentator grace my blog!  Truly I am humbled by your sweet welcome and to answer your question, I am well, thanks for asking.  I return the hugs! :)

  • My dear friend setareh! The feeling is mutual! Thank you for the kind words, I hope to be able to get back on track with my blogging as much as I can manage with my schedule and be around wonderful company once again. :)

  • Nice to see you here again Alice E.
That Cat in the Hat was missed :)

  • Dearest Alice, you made my day. I am so happy to see your message and one of your amazing posts here. You have been greatly missed. You are one of the Ec members whom I love so much. We have never seen eachother or even chatted, but I get to know you through your amazing blogs; the kind of knowing that one might not get even through long hours of talking. I'd better stop it or you may think oh she (or he :) ) is crazy. I wish you all the best for you and your beloved family. I hope to see you more here.
