Hello everybody.first of all I would like to introduce my self Am a new member from Sudan,My name is RababAm really glad and so excited to join EC hope to make a good addition to the site, make nice friends and of course improve my language :))This post to share our experiences in learning English, what are the ways or the tools that really helped u improve??I will share mine as well but I would like to hear from some of u first....'Don't make me wait :D

I do read, but I didn’t realize that all I read mostly are the same, until u mentioned it-thanks- I need to read diverse kinds of texts as u said to gain as different vocabulary as I can, thanks for ur idea.
I will take ur advice about watching English programs I really need to improve my listening am weak at that:(
For me what really helped me improve was reading, and English courses that provide a lot of group work and interaction.

Hello, I just want to say that I am glad to find people with the same questions and doubts about learning English. I would say that there are three main actitivities that really help anybody to learn English. First, you have to read; you can choose diverse kinds of text: literature, entertainment, news, technology, whatever. Second, you have to listen as much English as you can; one activity that really helps me is watch videos on YouTube or listen to music. Third, you must watch T.V in English. What I suggest the more is to start watching news; its English is kinda neutral and there are many topics talked. Besides, TV manages many themes and you may Enjoy TV shows. One of my favorite is "The big bang theory". Hope you think the some or share more ideas.
@ Expector Smith, You are right the more convenient the way to us the better we learn, at first we have to pass through all the ways to determine which is which right?:)
