some languages don't have similar consonants so foreigners adapt own consonants equivalent or just drop consonants at the end of word. as an example the word "voyage" should be awkward, because of ("g") for me. there is not exectly well-matched consonant in native language I tend to use "equivalent" in hope it will be understood. (i call it "poor english"). a confident speaker uses consonants correct. hope i made that clear.
