Have you ever had problems with your settings or your computer/device on EnglishClub? Did you notice that we have a separate Discussion Group called...Technical HELP?
That is a separate discussion group, so the help people can see your post and try to help you. It is the place you need to go if you have problems and they are usually pretty quick to work on your problem.
Did you ever have a problem with your computer on EnglishClub?
Did you use our Technical HELP discussion group?
Did they help you fix your problem or find a way you could do what you needed?
We hope that your problems were solved. If you don't post in the Technical HELP discussions, your problem might not be found. Also, please remember to search the discussions (keyword search) and see if there is already an answer to your problem. Most problems have already been found by other members and you can see the answer to what you need.
I want to hear about your experiences getting help here.
Thank you for your reply.

If you do report to them you need to make a good list about your problem step by step. You should tell them your hardware and an example of the ip addresses you used. I would try SPEEDTEST to see if you might have an internet problem: http://www.speedtest.net/?a=1
Sometimes MyEC wouldn't open no matter how hard I tried. It may not be a tech problem - maybe something wrong with my Internet services (too many users during the Lunar New Year holiday at the same time).
Hello Mr. Bob! How are you? Well, many times i have seen the 500:Unexpected Error... but only for few minutes. Also i know that some members can't connect in chat or they don't have access in main room.
Bob and Tara Benwell,
Thank you very much for your help.
Thanks, Bob! Often we have to go to our own Tech Help to get answers since MyEC is built on a Ning platform. We can only do so much to make changes to MyEC, but their support team can often at least offer an explanation as to why things don't work.
@Samuel You can disconnect from chat in the bottom right corner.
Hi Samuel, I have the same problem if I don't disconnect the chat.
I keep chat disconnected and never know if someone looked for me. If you don't disconnect it they may think you are being rude by ignoring them. I may have a computer connected and a phone or tablet. If I am connected people think I am seeing their messages when I may be asleep. I think busy and unavailable settings still make it look like you are there.
I suggest that you disconnect chat in chat settings unless you want to chat. Thanks for your reply.
Thank you for your helpful information, the only problem that meet me when I enter the site online to write a blog I transfer the chat to busy or to not available, but some members who wanted to chat with me can to open the chat, I am often forced to react so as not to anger any one. Is there a solution to prevent contact.
