Yes,it's an open question to all of you. How many hours we should spend here, I mean in my EC? I often find myself spending much more time. sometimes I don't want to be but can't stay away. So, I am asking you, have you any specific time or do you maintain any timetable? I don't know how would I solve this problem! Need your suggestions.

We can stay here as long as it doesn't disturb our daily routing. Every one have responsibilities at his/her disposal.
So far as me is concern, I get access from my work place subject I do not have my hands tied. Otherwise I even do not open my computer at home being preoccupied.

Afro, I've already answered this question more than once. Sorry, it's from a native speaker's prospective. "Life begins when you chose to shut the computer down, think about the life right in front of you, and chose to walk out your own front door". In my opinion, EC comes secondary to the life in the real world. English learning may be important. Local situations and most importantly, your family come first. Please, be here while learning and contributing when time allows. :)
Thanks everybody, I have made my own timetable. I hope, with this one I would be more able to get benefit from this worthy website.
I think in term of improving your English language literacy you have to stay longer because its best place to learn, and make sure you get best of your time @EC instead of surfing other useless websites.
in my case I being away approximately a year, hopefully its minor setback for major comeback

It really depends. I don't think it's a good idea to spend too much time here on MyEC. Some members just can't help it, though. They keep signing in and checking the blogs. But they are not alone in doing so. In fact, I'm just one of them - I've really enjoyed being actively involved here on MyEC.
Hmmmm :)) nice question I always wondered if its only me spending my most of time on EC but no I'm not the only one :D haha
Well I use it in my free time mostly in evening or night coz my day time is occupied with house chores, studies and other things. So spending my time on EC doesn't effect my routine even though I am addicted to it.

do u want to say u r addicted to ec and don't know how to control it? There is no exact time u can spend here but since u r mature woman I m sure u r able to deal with it. First of all duties then entertainment. At least we say it here. U can also take up different hobbies or choose different activities. What about reading a book in English?
If your stay yields productive results, then that's worth a stay like improving your English as you linger on this site. I saw a lot of transformed members who really improved their English from a scratch.
I often stay here when I steal a little time to relax from my hectic schedule. Commenting and interacting with the members using English language here in EC is worth relaxing for me. Where can I practice my English skills with enjoyment but in EC?
If you think you are not sacrificing something more worthwhile than staying in EC, then go ahead and stay. It's better to be addicted on something constructive than on something destructive.
By the way, your title is asking a question so the appropriate punctuation should be question mark.
If your purpose is to learn without leaving your responsibility in the real life. Then spending time here will not be a waste of time.
