How HE Turns Tables On...........

How ‘HE’  ‘turns tables’ on……:

Once a very rich but arrogant man was having lunch with his beautiful and gentle wife.  They heard the voice of a beggar at the door who was begging to give him the food.  The wife asked the permission from her husband whether she could give the meal to the beggar.  The husband very unwillingly allowed her.  When she came back after giving the meal to the beggar she found her husband not in good mood.  He was murmuring and cursing the beggar who disturbed him during his lunch and he stood up and left without having meal.

Since then the man started facing his downfall and all his business and wealth parted from him and he became mentally ill.  In his illness he got so frustrated and angry with his wife that he divorced her.

Years went by.  The beautiful woman got married to a rich but gentleman.  There was a de’javo, once again the situation repeated and the woman was having meal with her new husband.  They heard the voice at the door of a beggar who was begging to give him the meal.  The wife asked the permission from her husband whether she could give the food to the beggar.  The husband very willingly allowed her.  When she came back after giving the meal to the beggar, the husband found her very frustrated and sad.

“What happened? Is everything all right?  The husband asked.

“He, I mean the beggar was my ex-husband who was once very rich like you, but now he………………………….”  The tears which were rolling down her beautiful cheeks did not let her to complete the sentence.

The husband stood up, came to her and encircled her in his loving arms.

“My dear, if you took a good look at me, you would have recognized me earlier.  I am that beggar whom you gave the meal when you were the wife of that man.”

So my friends this is how HE turns the tables on somebody.

  • Hi Mishaikh,

if I may conclude the moral message from your story in my point of view is the wheel's life always cyrcling to everyone as human being. Sometimes we are in the top of the wheel that it means we can gain everything in our life such as the wealth, the power as well as the good standards of human life.

But the other side we can be in the lowest point of the wheel that means getting pain in life, for example poverty, illness, loneliness etc.

It is important to keep our attitude, empathy and gratitude as well once we are in the hill of life. Because we don't know our fate for the future. The wheel's life keep rotating. The thing that never change is the transformation itself.

Good story Mishaikh to remind us about the essence of life, and thanks for sharing.
