After a long ,dark,cold winter days Spring just arrived today. Migrated birds coming back home, hibernated animals coming out, Ice and snow is melting. We can miss the words like snow, sleet, hail, rain and freezing in our weather reports. Finally Spring arrived. No winter lasts for ever. March 1st is the first day of spring.
I am already dreaming of warmer softer breezes. When I walk through the road and parks I can see variety of early spring flowers.It was cold and ice in my garden, couldn't go out to do gardening. But flowers starts to come out this week. 'Daffodils' is one of the first flowers of 'cheerful Spring'. Daffodils symbolizing friendship.
Beautiful yellow daffodils signal the end of cold and winter and welcoming warmer weather. If you are born in March, Daffodils are your 'birthday flower'.
Spring is the season of new beginnings. Trees, plants and bushes that lost their leaves in this harsh winter begin to grow new leaves.
'We cannot stop the winter or the summer from coming. We cannot stop the Spring or the fall or make them other than they are. They are gift from the universe that we cannot refuse. But we can choose what we will contribute to life when each arrives (Gary Zukav)'.

It was minus four two weeks ago and even today it is snowing in many part of our country. That's why people in UK likes to travel to different countries to enjoy the sun.
Dear Adaline, thanks for sharing such a nice post. Spring with all its colorful flowers and lush green trees is so beautiful. It carries a message of hope with itself that after cold and harsh days of spring there will come better days so have faith.
Since I'm not living in four seasons area....I cannot think how it feels. But, I guess your days are very colorful with those seasons. To leave winter then meet spring and so on... I also guess that you have many kinds of clothes. :D
Here in my country we only meet wet and dry season. And there's no extreme change between the two seasons. It's always hot at midday outside. :)

Dear Elen, Meteorological spring will begin on 1st March and ends May 31st. The astronomical Spring (Northern Hemisphere) starts on March 20th this year.
