Happy Women's Day

My dear ladies and gentlemen! Tomorrow is International Women's Day and I'd like to congratulate all the EC girls and ladies with this great but strange holiday. I have been born in the country where any man has never had any idea about it, but where all women have always been respected and loved all year round. When I met my wife who is Ukrainian born and she told me about their men, I could hardly believe, but when I came to Kiev and saw them, I got what she meant! Perhaps, they really need some special day to be reminded of the main! It is women who give us birth suffering, they raise us suffering, they send us to the Army suffering and having only hope to see us alive again, they lick our wounds praying for us to come back to normal, they raise our kids, they work the same jobs and do it better than us. They defend and save us, they are always on guard! So, if there were no women, we, men, wouldn't exist! We only think we are strong(er). If fact, it is women who are the stronger sex.

So, I kneel down before all women of the world and say "You are the best thing ever happened to us. You should be cherished, pampereded, respected and loved all year round whatever you do. Thank you for being the best part of humanity and for sharing our lives, problems and feelings. I love you all! Thanks for being our soul-mates, lovers, friends. We wouldn't survive without you"

Dear Setareh! I am always happy to see your comments as you speak out your mind! I do respect your opinins and share them. But I have to say that men's attitude to women is deeply rooted in history. I would say more if I were not afraid to offend or insult anyone with my atheistic ideas. I may write you a personal message if you like to know what the true reason is.

My dear friend Estanis! Thank you so much for leaving you great comment here! In fact, a few former generations of our women ( I mean American and European and not only) struggled hard for equal human rights. I was born when everything had already been done in America. But I see what is going on in the world and can't be indifferent. It is getting better and I sincerely believe that next generations will not know what discrimination is! Thank you!

Nice to read a blog about woman on Woman's day. I think many man here don't think like you. Luckily I believe this unfairness toward woman will be reduced day by day. And luckily my husband do respect me.

Female gender is surely underestimated not only in the land you mention but in many other places, that's why I agree with this special day to remind us (men and women) the importance of every woman in her environment and her efforts wherever she is.

Many challenges have to be already achieved in fields of working, salaries, rights... but I see, at least in my society, how inequality has been decreasing.

Wow!dear Danny, you have written so beautifully about the facts which are as crystal-clear and I always wonder why we women have been mistreated all through the history. Still we can see such unfairness towards women; the sad point is that even some women themselves belive that they are inferior. Anyway I always believe that men have no superiority to us; we are just different, while we share the same essance of humanity.
Dear Danny, you are sooooo amazing! You should be a role model for all men. Of course my husband and my father and my brothers are just like you. God bless you all. So many thanks for your nice post. You cheered us all up.
