  • hi shanaz, thanks for the good topic for debate.  as u said wealthy alone cant give happiness. here our elders use to healthy is wealthy.  the moment one compares himself with the other person, he/she loses the happiness and can never get out of it. in precise, i can say satisfaction gives happiness which will definitely lead to success.  but how to get satisfied is the bigger question here

  • you know, There are lots of rich people who are unhappy .I think some people are just unhappy no matter what they have, and some ppl are just happy.

  • How do we ensure that we are happy? It is by learning `the art of detachment`. Again its a matter of `action` and not just thinking. Try it out and share.

  • It is very true..Happiness is the key!

  • `Finance` is commercial side while `happiness` is spiritual side of our life. Finance gives `pleasure` which may not last long while `happiness` gives energy which is longer lasting. Finance may lead to `greed`, while happiness is a `need` to spend healthy & peaceful life..

  • thanks Alene for your nice comment and also for your complement . absolutely you said right. now, could you tell me more about the financial side of happiness? what happens when we are happy in our life and work and getting best chances for the future?

  • and also the other pint is that Choose to be the best YOU can be. – Give it your all in everything you do, commit to your goals, and don’t compare yourself to anyone else.  John Wooden once said, “Success and happiness is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to do your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.”  Never try to be better than anyone else, but never stop trying to be the best you can be.  If you feel called to compare yourself to someone, compare yourself to an earlier version of yourself.

  • Hi and good morning Sunil Jogdeo.thanks for your attention. you mentioned a good point about happiness.

  • Hi, good morning Shanaz, nice sharing. happiness comes from small events and moments. In one of the lessons about Jacob Cominisky, a tailor who groomed his family was always keeping him `happy`. He said `happiness is not  state which is once achieved and done. We have to win over it again and again`. Happiness is a spiritual expression and a symptom of being a `loving being` than a `living being`. be happy and make others happy too to experience real happiness.

  • I think our personal relationship- The strength of our friendships, family ,and other close connections - have the gretest influence on happiness.

There is something much more important than relationships - work.

For example ,studies demonstrates that the people who have jobs whit independence and some variety - and who show creativity and productivity- are significantly happier than those who don`t. And , of course, the income that a job provides is also associared with happiness. However ,we all know that money has more of an impact when we don`t have very much.
