Finally she though of how to reply, so she picked up her pen on the desk and started her letter.

Dear grandma,

Milan is very good here at school, everything is wonderful, but still miss you much. I eat well, sleep well, study well and play well. Everyone around treats me very kindly, I am happy everyday. How about you, my dear grandma?

Grandma, Miss Spring has already come, she decorates the outside world so beautifully. Now seeing out from my window, I can see the new grass come out of the hard grand, flowers smile sweetly and the warm wind caresses my face softly. All these make me joyful. It occurred to me a similar day of ten years ago, on which you carried me on your back to the nearest park and joined the spring girl outside. Do you still remember that day, on which your kid, me, was sitting on the swing and made a promise to you, that was I would protect you when I grew up and make you happy? I remembered you told me that if I were happy, then so were you, I would always be your little girl, with a soft smile on your amiable face.

Grandma, I know you may think what I said on that day was just kid’s words, but I meant it. Now the time has come for me to protect you. I have grown up, yet still need your generous love; I can take care of myself as well as help others, yet still need your care; I am ready for all the coming sufferings and lucks that life has to offer, yet still need your encouragements. My dear grandma, no need to worry about me much, your little kid is growing braver and stronger, what you need to do is, get yourself ready to receive and enjoy her returned love for you~
