These are what he hasn't promised, but what has he promised to us ? :)
What has God hath promised? Strength for the day, Comfort for the tears and much more others.
There is a song in my country that the message is almost the same like this...
God never promised there'd be no trouble and hardship for us, but he promised to always be with us whatever the trial might be :)
