This weekend I was driving out of a shopping mall when something terrible happened. A seagull walked in front of my car and stopped. The bird was dragging its broken wing and couldn't fly. I couldn't drive around it because of my position in the intersection. Cars piled up behind me as I wondered what to do.These questions came to me in my moment of panic:1. I doubted if my conditional sentence is right or not ...Do we use "had +pp form of the verb " in if clause and "would /should /could have+pp form of the verb " in the result clause when we want to describe an imagination and unreal fact ???Or should we use the simple past form ???
I wouldn't become a candidate to be the president as a matter of fact ...I can't imagine to be the president ...And I never wish to be a president ...But to answer your question ,I say this way ...If one day one of my friends had been chosen to be the president of the country ,I would've suggested him/her to base a rule to change the rules of politics so that there wouldn't be any need to be a liar when you are in politics....

the answer to Tara's question: If my glasses broke right before I had to take an exam and if I really had trouble not having my glasses on ,I would ask the teacher to find someone to help me take the exam ,as some blind guys have their assistant help them while taking an exam.

I'd kick myself for not writing the story and then I'd think of a new story and actually write it.

Do you mean if I was playing with it and it broke? If that happened I would tell the clerk the truth. Or, do you mean if my pen ran out? If my pen ran out I would buy a new one. I hate being without a pen.
